This role works under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Electrician or Foreman and is designed to provide hands-on training and skill development in the electrical trade.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the installation of electrical systems in new construction, tenant upfits, and remodel projectsSupport Journeyman Electricians with daily tasks and assigned work activitiesLearn to measure, bend, and install conduit, including EMT and MC cableAssist with wire installation, pulling wire, and operating basic equipment such as wire tuggersHelp install fixtures, outlets, switches, and other electrical devicesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAssist with tool, equipment, and material accountabilityFollow all company safety policies and utilize required PPE at all timesDemonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop trade skillsLearn how to read and interpret blueprints and job drawingsCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsMeet productivity goals and project timelines as directed by leadershipQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredEnrollment in or willingness to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program is a plusBasic knowledge of hand tools and construction environments preferred but not requiredStrong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learnAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamGood communication and time management skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in physically demanding environmentsAbility to climb ladders, crawl, and work in confined spaces as requiredAbility to work in varying weather and job site conditionsWork Environment:Field-based role working on active commercial construction job sitesReports directly to a Journeyman Electrician or ForemanOpportunity for advancement through hands-on experience and trainingAdditional Requirements:Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
