Drax is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support safe, reliable operation of our renewable biomass and power generation assets. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, motors, drives, and instrumentation, including sensors, analyzers, and PLC-based control equipment.
Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting outages and project work, calibrating instruments, reading electrical drawings, and updating documentation. You’ll collaborate with operations and engineering teams, follow strict safety and environmental standards, and help improve plant reliability in a low‑carbon energy environment.
