Our E/I Technicians are responsible for installation, calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation devices and electrical equipment including control systems, transformers, and motor control centers in a heavy industrial environment.Operation of valves, controllers, transmitters, positioners, PLC's, pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic lines.Operation and troubleshooting of motors, motor starters, motor controllers, inverters, electrical switchgear, lighting and all electrical circuits from DC up to and including 4160V.Perform basic calibration of instruments on process and utility equipment.Basic troubleshooting and repair of process controllers, plant equipment, and laboratory instruments.Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers utilizing available instructions and manuals.Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, electrical files, E&I drawings, and work order documentation is complete with accurate information.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentThe ability to pass an aptitude test in industrial Electrical/Instrumentation functions and complete a training program.Two years electrical or electrician experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentBasic reading, writing and arithmetic skillsPreferred QualificationsTechnical degree, certification or equivalentThe Fine PrintBenefits and perquisites may vary based on the nature and location of each job.Click here for MLC EEO informationAbout Mississippi Lime CompanyMississippi Lime Company ("MLC"), headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is a leading global supplier of high-calcium lime products and technical solutions.
