Drax is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support safe, reliable operation of our renewable energy facility. In this role you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution systems, motor controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and control circuits supporting biomass processing and power generation. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support commissioning and shutdowns, and drive root‑cause analysis to improve reliability.
Working closely with operations and engineering, you’ll help optimize plant performance, uphold safety and environmental standards, and contribute to Drax’s low‑carbon energy mission.
