Electrical and Instrumentation EngineerKoch Methanol, LLC is looking to hire an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join the St. James, Louisiana team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Senior E/I Engineer with the implementation and continued development of the site's electrical and instrument reliability program. This role will also serve as a technical resource for the site's electrical and instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and new equipment specification, etc.This role works a 9/80 (Monday-Thurs, every other Friday) schedule with night and weekend coverage based on demand.At Koch Methanol, we strive to be the partner of choice to our customers, employees, our customers & our community. We want employees with a creative, entrepreneurial spirit to challenge the status-quo & drive transformational change.What You Will DoManage Smart Plant Instrumentation Intools databaseDevelop/Review electrical and instrument PM tasks and establish frequencies for executionDevelop corporate dashboards with electrical and instrument KPIsPerform root cause failure analysis on electrical equipment and instrumentationResponsible for ensuring site is leveraging the most effective, economical, and reliable technologies to meet business and customer needsContinue pursuing technology and best practices to increase site asset's reliabilityDrive change utilizing the Management of Change processClose gaps in the electrical and instrument programs identified by auditsManage electrical and instrument projectsPerform instrument calculations using ConvalWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Electrical and instrumentation engineering experienceStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in root cause failure analysisExperience with electrical and instrumentation maintenance and reliability practices.Experience participating in or leading Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)Ability to identify and close gaps in mechanical integrity and process safetyWhat Will Put You Ahead5+ years electrical and/or instrumentation engineering experienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related fieldExperience with Smart Plant Instrumentation (Intools) or similar database management systemsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
