A growing industrial manufacturer is seeking an Electrical & Control Systems Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for plant electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, and controls. This role drives reliability, modernization, and safe operation across multiple production areas.
Requirements
* Lead and develop electrical, controls, and automation engineering staff
* Oversee electrical distribution, motor control, instrumentation, and automation systems
* Direct PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial network architecture
* Approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation
* Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning
* Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues
* Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, ISA, IEEE standards
* Coordinate contractors, integrators, and equipment suppliers
* Support reliability improvements, root-cause analysis, and change management
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* 8+ years in electrical, automation, or control systems engineering
* 3+ years of engineering leadership experienceStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, and instrumentation
* Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial networks
* Proven success leading engineering teams and projects
Preferred
* PE license
* Master's degree in engineering or business
* Experience in industrial manufacturing or process industries
* PMP or automation/reliability certifications
* Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity and Industry 4.0 technologies
