If you have a commitment to supporting and building our community, we want your energy and talent as part of our diverse team.Salary Range: $63,606.40 - $101,108.80 Anticipated Hiring Range: $63,606.40 - $82,305.60( commensurate with skills and experience )Position available for person to perform responsible work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of communication systems in substations, generator facilities, and commission-wide mobile communications including fiber optic cable testing and splicing.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides technical skills as a senior level technician utilizing computer applications in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic and microprocessor control systems for communication, distribution equipment, substation, and generationAssumes responsibility in the maintenance and repair of Electric Department remote monitoring systems or SCADA, Commission-wide mobile communications, and distribution automationAssumes responsibility in fiber optic cable testing and splicingUtilizes laptop and manufacturer's software to test and repair communication equipment and infrastructureMaintains mobile radio equipment through programming, testing, and repairingInstalls control wiring from schematic drawings, and other equipment reports on a schedule by taking readings and measurementsOperates various computers to troubleshoot problems associated with control or communication systemsRecords equipment tests records in a computerized database for preventive maintenance schedulingPerforms other duties as requiredMinimum RequirementsOver three years of experienceAssociate Degree from an accredited collegeValid Commercial Driver's LicenseYour needs extend beyond a simple medical plan.
