Electric Motor Mechanic / WinderTerre Haute, Indiana, United StatesAbout the JobThe Electric Motor Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, and testing a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes. This role ensures repairs are completed accurately and safely, following OEM, EASA, and customer specifications.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, disassemble, repair, and test electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxesUtilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers to ensure accurate measurements and troubleshootingConduct failure analysis, document findings, and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassemblyPerform in-house and on-site repairs while adhering to OEM, EASA, and customer specificationsMaintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checksFollow all mechanical and electrical safety practicesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1 to 3 years of experience in industrial electric motor repair or relevant training (EASA or military experience acceptable)Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic with industrial electric motors (automotive motor experience not acceptable)Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and mechanical/electrical safety practicesNice to HaveWinding experienceISO 9001 experienceAdditional InformationLocation: Terre Haute, INShift: 1st ShiftIndustry: Industrial AutomationIf you have experience repairing industrial electric motors, are detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
