This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful cases involving vulnerable elderly individuals and their families while supporting attorneys in the pursuit of justice and maximum recovery for our clients.Position Overview:The Elder Abuse Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.

This individual will work closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, experts, and support staff to ensure cases are efficiently managed and prepared for successful resolution.Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with elder abuse litigation matters from intake through trialDraft and review pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand packagesPrepare and organize exhibit binders, mediation materials, trial notebooks, and other case-related documentsCommunicate regularly with clients to obtain case updates, records, and supporting documentationReview, summarize, and organize medical records, facility records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responsesCoordinate with medical providers, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel regarding case-related mattersAssist with trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibit management, trial subpoenas, and courtroom logisticsManage litigation calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines and filing requirementsCollaborate with attorneys and litigation staff to develop and execute case strategiesSupport the preparation of mediations, settlement conferences, and trial proceedings3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in elder abuse, medical negligence, wrongful death, or personal injury litigationQualifications:Strong calendaring and case management experienceExperience reviewing and summarizing medical records, discovery responses, and deposition transcriptsFamiliarity with California court procedures, filing deadlines, and e-filing platformsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and ExcelProfessional demeanor with a strong commitment to client serviceAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentBilingual Spanish is a plusCompensation Range:$30 – $45 per hourComprehensive Benefits Package:Competitive compensation based on experience and qualificationsRetirement Savings: 401(k) plan availableCareer Development: Opportunities for professional growth and advancementComprehensive Insurance Coverage:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysFree Onsite ParkingWe are an equal opportunity employer and offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for growth and advancement.
