Safety And Environmental Health Specialist
This opportunity is with a high-purity specialty chemical manufacturer located near Dallas, TX. This is an on-site role at a 50-person, 24/7 operational plant that is not PSM regulated but it follows similar guidelines & regulations. This facility has had zero recordables in over 2 years and is determined to continue its safety initiatives. It’s a tight knit team that is aiming on improving the plant and by bringing in new team members with a similar mindset/goal. You'll be responsible for improving safety procedures & processes, training employees, enhancing confined spaces/entries, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, and assisting production teams with projects. You'll be supervising 1 plant employee (Safety Coordinator) that helps with following compliance, while gaining assistance from Plant Manager, corporate, and other EHS leaders within the organization.
