Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and environmental compliance sector, is seeking a EHS Specialistto join their team. As a EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Specialist
Location: Maplewood, Minnesota
Pay Range: $21/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend)

What's the Job?

  • Gather and organize manufacturing, plant, application, and business data related to product EHS compliance.
  • Assist in grouping products into families and support bill of material (BOM) collection from various sites.
  • Support raw material data preparation and ensure accurate entry into clientproduct EHS systems.
  • Help prepare product and material information for downstream input and review.
  • Maintain accurate trackers for open items, status updates, and project handoffs, escalating issues as needed.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a science or engineering field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data organization skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with SKU, BOM, product, and raw material data.
  • Experience with SAP, PLM, BOMs, or product data management is preferred.
