Human by nature.EHS Specialist I, your future position?As an EHS Specialist, you will be under the leadership of EHS Manager giving support on one or more EHS specializations, promoting the EHS culture across the organization.This position will be based 100% on site at our Devon, Florence site.Your main responsibilities will include:Support Management and operations staff for internal/external regulatory complianceStay abreast with EHS regulations and apply knowledge to projects and daily tasksWith authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; reporting to EHS Manager any clue of authority concernsLead incident, injury and complaint investigations and propose corrective actions to be implementedEvaluate regulatory permitting requirements and submit permit applications to applicable agenciesDevelop compliance training and documentation and conduct EHS trainingsFacilitate tool box meeting and deliver other EHS trainingParticipate on the development of EHS procedures, recommend changes and tracking their implementationOrganize and participate in regular site safety inspection with department/area owners; report findings and follow up their correction&preventionFollow up all audits findings; and evaluate the effectiveness of their corrective and preventive actionsHelp on organizing site EHS committee meetings and following up all actions agreed in the committee meetingHelp on risk assessment and provide solutions to minimize risksYou?Your professional profile includes:Degree in Science/Engineering, or EHS fieldAt least 1 year of working experience in similar EHS roles.Appropriate country EHS qualification/certificationsExpertise in environmental area is a plus.Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision plans, tuition reimbursement, high matching 401k#LI-OnsiteGivaudan takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications/certifications and education, and internal equity.At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.You work within an inspiring teamwork culture – where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.Every essence of you enriches our world.Diversity of perspectives fuels innovation and fosters deeper connections with our employees, customers, and partners.
