EHS Specialist - 37.65/hr.

North America (NA) Research and Innovation (R&I) Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

• 3-5 years' experience required of relevant EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments. Minimum we are looking for is someone who is familiar (ideally can already manage) and hazwaste program and someone who can comfortably use excel.
• The specialist should have a solid understanding of environmental topics, but we see this primarily as a support role within the EHS team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, and basic formulas) and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with EHS data, metrics, and/or reporting tools (e.g., incident management systems, learning management systems, or environmental tracking tools).
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulations (air permits, waste management, wastewater, stormwater, etc.).
• Ability to research and interpret EHS regulations, guidance documents, and standards, and translate them into practical site actions.
