Overview
Primient is hiring an EHS Manager (Local H&S Team Leader) to provide technical safety and health support for our plant in Loudon, Tennessee. This role leads a small safety team, develops and implements safety programs, and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of three safety personnel (Safety Administrator, Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinator).
- Develop, implement and promote H&S Management Systems and safety objectives.
- Conduct H&S performance reviews, audits and corrective action tracking.
- Handle workplace injury claims, coordinate medical treatment and communicate with insurance companies.
- Lead incident investigations and root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable safety requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CSP preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a process/food industrial environment.
- Prior safety management experience and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in root‑cause investigation techniques.
- Knowledge of safety compliance and Safety Systems such as ISO14001, ISO45001 or similar preferred.
Location
Loudon, Tennessee (approximately 32 miles south of Knoxville). Relocation assistance available for candidates who require it.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated annual pay range: $123,494.40 – $154,368.00. The role is bonus eligible.
