EHS Manager – Semiconductor Industry
Weilheim or Munich surrounding area, Germany
We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our semiconductor facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional with deep expertise in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management, clean room environments , and local regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do
- Establish and maintain an EHS management system aligned with international & national standards (ISO 14000, OHSAS18000).
- Ensure compliance with ASiG §6 , maintain existing systems, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate internal and external audits .
- Collaborate with local authorities , accident insurers, safety regulators, and environmental agencies.
- Guide departments to identify risks, implement improvements, and execute safety checks, risk assessments, emergency plans, and drills.
- Organize and deliver employee EHS training .
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Electronics, or equivalent .
- Certified Safety Engineer (or equivalent).
- 10+ years in EHS management, ideally in the semiconductor industry .
- Strong understanding of clean room operations .
- Open-minded, hands-on, and cross-culturally aware.
- Fluent in English & German (written and spoken).
- Ability to work in multicultural, cross-functional teams .
- Willing to relocate to Weilheim/Munich area , hold a valid German work permit , and work on-site.
- Deep knowledge of local regulations and experience liaising with government authorities.
