Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: Seattle, WA Employment Type: Temp to permanent Industry: Transportation Manufacturing
Compensation: $48-$61/hour
Schedule: 4x10, Sunday-Wednesday, Night Shift - 12:00 AM-8:30 AM About the Opportunity: Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive EHS expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, knowledgeable, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure the utmost compliance with EHS rules on the site for both Our employees and contractors during the critical testing & commissioning phases on equipment and trains. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (permit offices, supervisors, and the prime contractor), monitor and enforce safety protocols, and much more. - Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure safety,
- Collaborating with permit offices to secure necessary authorizations,
- Investigating incidents, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions,
- Engaging with the prime contractor to align EHS objectives and practices
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with EHS regulations and compliance in a construction or industrial environment.,
- Educational background in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Experience in the railway, aviation, transportation, or automotive industries
- Knowledge of risk assessment and control strategies for worksites
- Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting procedures
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
