EHS Manager nnTimpl has partnered with a major EV battery manufacturing company is and seekingna EHS Manager. nn MAJOR FUNCTION:n * Oversee one or more plant-wide safety, health programsn * Manage the ISO 45001 certification process and lead the Safety & Healthn Compliance Team to drive continuous improvement in all Safety & Healthn programs (PSM, DHA, OHSA Program)n * Ensure hazard identification and mitigation for plant operations andn administrative officesn * Conduct daily line walks to ensure EH&S practices are being observed and ton note any at-risk behaviors, unsafe conditions, faulty equipment orn non-compliance with any EH&S related policies/regulations n * Ensure timely communication of safety issues/concerns to departmentn leadership n * Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements across the organizationn * Participate in incident investigations and track corrective actionsn * Conduct new equipment reviews, mechanical risk assessments and ergonomic riskn assessmentsn * Participate in emergency response drills and critiquesn * Conduct new hire orientation, contractor safety and other EH&S relatedn training topicsn * Develop/update site specific programs to ensure compliance with alln applicable regulationsn * Communicate with the subsidies colleagues around the globen * Appropriate Respond in the event of accident, Prevention of recurrence.n * Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:n * Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustainn * Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Containern * Perform other duties as assignednnPREREQUISITES:n * Over 3+ years of experience in related fields
