Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Safety Specialist to join a manufacturing company in the solar industry. This position will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment, identifying workplace hazards, supporting safety programs, and ensuring employees follow company and OSHA safety procedures.

General Job Duties:

• Conduct routine safety inspections throughout the facility.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure employees properly use PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with employee safety training and orientations.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Communicate safety concerns to supervisors and management.
• Assist with safety audits and inspections.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the workplace.
• Support emergency procedures and workplace safety programs.
• Perform other general safety duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous safety experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify and address safety hazards.
• OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
• Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, or weekends.
