Hands-on EHS leader responsible for environmental, health, and safety oversight in a manufacturing and warehousing facility. Reports to the Plant Manager with regional EHS support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
- Lead safety programs, including Behavior-Based Safety initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments, investigations, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Manage hazardous materials, waste programs, and environmental reporting.
- Oversee safety training, emergency preparedness, and required documentation.
- Serve as EHS advisor to site leadership and liaison during regulatory inspections and workers' compensation claims.
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with safety programs, compliance reporting, and hazardous waste regulations.
- Relevant certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH) preferred.
