Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all environmental, occupational health, safety, and fire protection programs in manufacturing factory . This role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations as well as internal policies—while fostering a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and ensure EH&S programs for Electronic Manufacturing .
- Monitor changes in legislation to maintain ongoing compliance and operational readiness.
- Conduct risk assessments focused on manufacturing hazards material used.
- Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses root cause analyses.
- Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and walk-throughs of production floors to identify issues.
- Maintain required EH&S documentation, including SDS/MSDS, incident logs, and training records.
- Maintain and ensure ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems certification compliance.
- Serve as the EH&S programs primary point of contact for corporate and regulatory angencies.
- Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans inclusive of emergency drills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of EH&S experience in electronics manufacturing environments .
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations , and related compliance frameworks.
- Experience in hazard identification, chemical safety, and manufacturing risk mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent credential.
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems requirements.
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
