We're a trusted and strategic partner to engineers, contractors, distributors, specifiers, retailers, and homeowners alike as the manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete, and plastic infrastructure products.Job SummaryThe EHS Coordinator will coordinate new hire onboarding and manage safety trainings, handle incident investigations and hazard analysis and will reinforce safe behaviors and conditions.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct safety awareness training and communications annually and during new hire onboardingConduct authorized safety training as requiredParticipate in incident investigations and identification of corrective actionsProvide training for supervision in incident investigation and root cause analysisProvide training on behavior based safety, track and communicate collected dataDrive participation by plant employeesConduct risk assessmentsFacilitate corrective actions for at-risk tasksUpdate/upgrade training programsProvide communications with all job classifications on safety awareness in the form of daily huddle topics, postings, etc.Conduct ergonomic assessments for operationsReview and maintain safety programs and documentation for compliance with corporate policies/proceduresProvide technical assistance for all safety-related plant programsParticipate in new project installation pre-start up safety reviewsIdentify non-routine tasks and assist in planning and implementing risk reduction effortsProvide assistance with environmental activities – stormwater pollution prevention and spill prevention, containment & countermeasures, recycling, etc.Other duties may be assigned as neededJob RequirementsHigh school diploma/equivalentSafety-related degree or certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plusEnvironmental experience is preferredSome experience in an industrial setting is preferredPrior experience in training/public speaking preferredFamiliar with OSHA and federal and state regulations pertaining to safety, health and environmental issuesProficient skills in Microsoft OfficeStrong written and oral skillsWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
