Responsibilities
- Focusing on and ensuring plant chemical, electrical, and mechanical safety
- Completing environmental and safety audits
- Overseeing hazardous waste
- Completing accident investigations
- Meeting OSHA guidelines
- Training employees
- Maintaining ISO14000 and DOT regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or similar is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Will accept entry level candidates with no experience and an AS or BS degree in a related field
- Experience with IMDS, RCRA, DOT, ISO14000, etc is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for EHS
- MS Office proficiency
