Right Price.Title: EHS Coordinator – Radiation Safety Compliance Duration: 05 months contract Location: Cary, NC Shift: Standard Business HoursPosition SummaryProvides support for multiple radiation safety compliance programs including radiation dosimetry, radiation safety training, FDA 2579 submissions, Texas Equipment Performance Evaluations, X-Ray Demonstration Registrations, Radioactive Material Licensing and Service X-Ray RegistrationsDirectly supports regulatory documentation, technical reviews, database management, billing coordination, and radiation safety administrative functionsSupports radiation safety compliance processes through communication with field teams, state agencies, customers, and internal stakeholdersResponsibilitiesFDA 2579 Submissions Performs technical review of all FDA Form 2579 for accuracy and completenessCompares information on forms against system information in P40Makes corrections to forms as neededTracks missing or deficient formsSubmits forms to FDA, State Agencies and customersFiles completed forms as requiredCommunicates missing or deficient forms to fieldReviews FDA 2579 mailboxMaintains associated databasesLicense Billing and Payment Support Tracks, files and submits payments to state agencies for licenses and other billsProcesses checks / P-CardsAdministrative Tasks Associated with Radiation Safety Files paperwork associated with Service X-Ray Registrations and Radioactive Material LicensesEnrolls and maintains personnel for Radiation Safety related trainingsRadiation Dosimetry Program Support Reviews Radiation Safety Officer mailbox for dosimetry requestsCommunicates prior dose requests to hiring managerFiles dose requests as requiredIssues and ships dosimeters as requiredSupports quarterly ring dosimeter shipmentsMaintains associated databasesX-Ray Demonstrations Support Reviews X-Ray Demonstrations mailbox for event requestsUploads event requests into Demonstration databasePerforms technical review of event requests against specific state regulationsSubmits event requests to state agencies as requiredUpdates submitter that event is approvedTexas Equipment Performance Evaluations Support Reviews Texas EPE mailbox for required communicationsReviews service reports for events where EPEs are requiredEnters EPE requirements into SAP and Texas EPE databaseContacts customer within prescribed timeline to schedule EPE or confirm completionContacts contracted physics groups as requiredFiles Texas EPE documentationUpdates databases as requiredAdditional Support Supports other administrative functions including creating training documentationQualificationsEducation: Not specifiedExperience: Background in Radiation Protection desiredSkills: Proficient with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.
