Be a part of the Insight Chicago team that provides PATIENT CARE SECOND TO NONE!An EEG (electroencephalogram) technician is a healthcare professional who records and monitors electrical activity in the brain to help diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain injuries. They prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, applying electrodes to the scalp, and ensuring proper equipment setup. EEG technicians operate specialized machines to capture brain wave data, monitor patients during testing, and identify irregular patterns for physician review.
