Chickering Elementary School in Dover, MA is seeking Educational Assistants to work with classroom teachers and students in grades K-5 to support academic and social-emotional learning activities, supervise lunchroom and recess, and assist teachers with materials preparation. Educational Assistants will be provided support and direction from general education staff. Primary responsibilities: -To nurture and support students. -Support and facilitate classroom activities and instruction -Implement designated academic learning activities and positive behavior support plans -Communicate with educators regarding student progress -Assist classroom teachers in creating materials for student use. -Supervision of students Job requirements: -Associate's or Bachelor's degree -Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction -Ability to work well with others -Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills -Work the school year calendar, plus 3 extra days Our district is committed to strengthening opportunities for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
