Instructional Assistant For High School Alternative Online Learning Academy
The Instructional Assistant for high school alternative online learning academy (Spartan Academy) assists the classroom teacher guiding students in achieving academic success towards a high school diploma. In addition, substitute teaching at the secondary level when needed is required.
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong professional work ethic
- Experience working with at-risk students sought
- ESL certified and Bilingual applicants sought
- Successfully pass all background checks
- Must meet the following requirements
- Possess a current Michigan teaching certificate
- Possess a current Michigan substitute permit
- Meet the requirements to attain a Michigan substitute teaching permit
Job Details:
- Regular school year assignment - up to 7.0 hours/day
- Rate - $17.00/hour
- Subject to 90 day probationary period
- At-will position - contracted through third party staffing company (PCMI / EduStaff)
- Paid leave upon successful completion of probationary period
- Begin date subject to completion of third party hiring processes
- Substitute teach at secondary level when needed
