Educational Assistant Position Available
Applications are being accepted for full-time educational assistants at Foley Public Schools. Location: Foley Elementary School Start Date: August 31, 2026
Essential Functions: Educational Assistants work directly under the supervision of the classroom teacher, community education director, and/or the school principal. Educational Assistants supervise and work with students in the preschool classrooms. 7-hour day (6.5 paid hours per day or 32.5 paid hours per 5-day week)
Qualifications: An A.A. degree or at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro or ParaEducator assessment. Experience or interest in working with children in a classroom or educational setting. Experience or interest in working with children with disabilities is preferred.
