    Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, higher education, student affairs, international studies, or related field.

    Experience with event planning, outreach, recruitment, communications, or student engagement.

    Excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community members in 1:1 or presentation style.

    Must be a U.S. citizen to hold certification with the U.S. Department of State as a Passport Facility Agent.

    Experience working in higher education or student services.

    Experience with international education, study abroad, domestic exchange or student travel, or student mobility programming.

    Experience presenting to groups and coordinating campus events.

    Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media analytics, or CRM /student engagement platforms.

Job Description

n

The Education Mobility Outreach Coordinator is responsible for providing outreach and recruitment efforts for the three Education Mobility units to increase student enrollment and drive awareness of programs. This position reports directly to the Director of Education Mobility.

Job Duties

    n
  • n

    Assist in developing strategies to increase student awareness and participation in Education Abroad and Study in America programs.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Represent Education Mobility at tabling events, student organization fairs, orientations, classroom presentations, campus events, and community outreach opportunities.

  • n

    Conduct presentations and information sessions for students and campus partners. Including, but not limited to, attending New Student Orientations.

  • n

    Coordinate logistics and promotional efforts for Education Mobility events, including but not limited to: Education Abroad/Study in America fair, pre-departure orientations, workshops, recruitment events, passport office programing and educational workshops, etc. Coordinating logistics includes assisting with scheduling, room reservations, event set up, event communications, event materials, promotional signage, etc. Could also include attending evening and occasional weekend events as needed.

    Administratively maintain outreach calendars, outreach metrics, event attendance, and recruitment outcomes having data ready to provide when requested.

    Keep up with all inventory of marketing and recruitment materials, requesting an order of new supplies, as needed, including program T-Shirts.

    Manage Education Mobility social media accounts and assist in developing engaging promotional content. Includes responding to social media messages, inquiries, and outreach communications in a professional and timely manner.

    Create graphics, flyers, digital signage, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns for events and programs. Includes coordinating the distribution of marketing materials across campus and within the surrounding community.

    Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for outreach activities, recruitment processes, and systems utilized by Education Abroad and Study in America.

    Support passport office walk-in days directing the customer flow.
