The posted compensation range of $58.94 - $89.62/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Education Coordinator RN, you will help hospital staff, patients, families, and academic partners access, manage, and deliver educational and policy initiatives so they can enhance their knowledge, maintain compliance, and improve overall operational efficiency and patient care.

Everyday you will administer and support education and policy software systems, manage academic affiliations, and provide comprehensive administrative coordination. You will be expected to collaborate with various stakeholders, troubleshoot technical issues, provide training, and ensure adherence to all regulatory and institutional requirements related to education.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong organizational skills, technical proficiency in learning management systems, excellent communication abilities, a proactive problem-solving approach, and a commitment to quality improvement and compliance within a healthcare education context.

Responsibilities:

  • Educational Software & Systems Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and policy management software, providing direct support, running reports, conducting training (in-person/webinar), and resolving technical issues for all users.
  • Academic Affiliations & Student Program Management: Direct and oversee all aspects of academic affiliation agreements, including negotiation, execution, and renewal, and manage the standardized onboarding, orientation, and placement processes for students from local universities and colleges.
  • Administrative & Logistical Coordination: Perform comprehensive administrative functions for the education department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas/minutes, processing expenses, and coordinating logistics for various educational sessions and new hire orientations.
  • IT Liaison & Communication: Act as the main contact for IT issues and projects related to the education department, proactively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, IT teams, and management regarding information needs and technical requirements.
  • Educational Program Support & Compliance: Assist in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of education programming, supporting compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and contributing to quality improvement and patient/employee safety initiatives.
  • Resource Management & Strategic Input: Assist in planning for and managing fiscal and other resources for educational programs, contribute to the assessment of organization-wide education needs, and support the development and implementation of departmental strategic plans related to education.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree of Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License required
