Data Engineer PositionAs a data engineer, you will be responsible for developing ETL data pipeline in Google infrastructure using SQL(40%) and should be able to take a simple task in Java coding in Data Pipelines(20%). You should be able to support the existing legacy workflow written in SQL(20%). Remaining time should be spent to pursue product excellence driving by TL/Engineers.Minimum Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 3+ years of experience developing data pipelines or software applications in general · Experience in developing with SQL/relational databases · Working knowledge or experience in developing Java · Willingness to learn Google infrastructure and coding practicePreferred Qualifications· Experience in designing relational databases tables · Experience in data warehousing and data analytics · Experience in test automation/release automation · Ability to adopt agile methodologies · Advocate to simple design · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
