ED Radiologist

Detroit Medical Center Radiology is seeking an Emergency Radiologist to join their high-acuity, mission-driven team. This role offers remote or hybrid flexibility, predictable schedules, and a strong teaching focus supported by an on-site residency. Practice Info

• High-acuity, mission-driven team with a strong teaching focus.
• On-site ACGME residency with 6 residents per year.
• ED model: paired 1:1 with a resident each ED shift; residents generate preliminary reads, and you finalize with real-time feedback.
• Use iCollaborate for streamlined case assignment, image sharing, and live attending-resident interaction.
• Volume: Median 100-110 cases per day.
• Practice across Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital (Level III trauma), Harper University Hospital (Tertiary academic center), Detroit Receiving Hospital (Level I trauma), and Sinai-Grace Hospital (Level II trauma).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact clinical care across a major urban system with interesting pathology.
• Teach with purpose in a modern, resident-forward environment.
• Shape your work with custom FTE models (0.6 to 1.0), including hybrid and remote reading where service allows.
• Have a voice in schedules, workflows, and coverage models.

Compensation

• $100,000 sign-on bonus + shift premium

Shift & Schedule

• 11p-7a EST (REMOTE or HYBRID reading options)
• 8-hour shifts
• 1 week on/1 week off or 1 week on/2 weeks off
• Schedules posted 90 days in advance
• Customizable contracts (0.6 to 1.0 FTE) with hybrid and remote options

• BC/BE Radiologists across Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Breast and Women's Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology.
