ED Radiologist

Detroit Medical Center Radiology is expanding and seeking an ED Radiologist to join their high-acuity, mission-driven team. This role offers remote or hybrid flexibility, predictable schedules, and a strong teaching focus within an ACGME residency program. Qualified candidates will receive an enhanced sign-on bonus and the opportunity to provide high-impact clinical care across a major urban system.

Practice Info

• On-site ACGME residency with 6 residents per year
• ED model: 1:1 pairing with a resident each ED shift
• Residents generate preliminary reads; attending reads independently and finalizes with real-time feedback
• Uses iCollaborate for streamlined case assignment, image sharing, and live attending-resident interaction
• Median volume of 100-110 cases per day
• Practice across Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital (Level III trauma), Harper University Hospital (Tertiary academic center), Detroit Receiving Hospital (Level I trauma), and Sinai-Grace Hospital (Level II trauma)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact clinical care across a major urban system with interesting pathology
• Teach with purpose in a modern, resident-forward environment
• Shape work with custom FTE models (0.6 to 1.0), including hybrid and remote reading where service allows
• Have a voice in schedules, workflows, and coverage models

• $75K signing bonus for qualified candidates

• 3p-11p EST (REMOTE or HYBRID reading options)
• 8-hour shifts
• 1 week on/1 week off
• Schedules posted 90 days in advance

• BC/BE Radiologists across subspecialties including Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Breast and Women's Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology
