Shift Details:
- Shift Start + End Times: 7AM-730PM
- Hours/Week: 24.00
- Weekend Requirements: every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Requirements: every 3rd holiday
The ED Patient Partner greets and serves as a patient liaison to the Emergency Department patients upon arrival. Provides operational, clerical, and minor patient care support to the Emergency Department. Collaborates with Emergency Department staff to effectuate patient flow and keeps patients informed about wait times and delays. The Patient Liaison provides superior customer service to patients and is charged with fostering an ideal patient experience. Registration and flawless identification of patients as they present to the ED and excellent communication skills and critical thinking in a complex, busy and demanding environment.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Preferably one year experience in a medical setting and or certification from a Medical Assistant Program.
- Bi‑lingual preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associates preferred.
