Baptist Health Louisville is expanding, and our 30+ bed Observation Unit plays a key role in supporting the Emergency Department and telemetry units. We care for lowacuity patients who need shortterm evaluation before determining whether admission is required. This fastpaced unit offers strong nursetopatient ratios and is wellsuited for nurses with Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, or other acutecare experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive assessments and reassessments.
- Develop individualized, evidencebased plans of care.
- Provide care aligned with hospital policies, professional standards, and our mission and values.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care as needed.
- Use strong critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills in daily practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS
- ACLS
Preferred Background
- Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, or acutecare experience
