- Shift: 4/10's 0600 - 1630
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- On Call: Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends
Responsibilities
- Adult 2D echo
- Use of contrast agent
- Bubble study
- Post cardiac catheterization echo
- Post surgical echo
- Assessment of pericardial effusion
- Pericardiocentesis imaging
- Calculating LV and RV strain
- Diastology with TDI
- PISA calculations
- Biplane measurements for EF
- Treadmill stress echo: set-up, resting and stress imaging
- Dobutamine stress echo: set-up, resting and stress imaging
- Transesophageal Echo (TEE): set up, image acquisition, physician assistance
