Position: Travel: Echocardiology Technician / Radiology
Position Information
Shift: 4/10's 0600 - 1630
Duration: 13 Weeks
On Call: Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends
The Echo traveler needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:
- Adult 2D echo
- with use of contrast agent
- bubble study
- Post cardiac cath
- Post surgical echo
- assessment of pericardial effusion
- pericardiocentesis imaging
- calculating LV and RV strain
- diastology with TDI
- PISA calculations
- Biplane measurements for EF
- Treadmill stressecho: set‑up, resting and stress imaging
- Dobutamine stressecho: set‑up, resting and stress imaging
- Transesophageal Echo (TEE): set up, image acquisition, physician assistance
