Position: Travel: Echocardiology Technician / Radiology
Position Information
Shift: 4/10's 0600 - 1630
Duration: 13 Weeks
On Call: Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends
The Echo traveler needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:
* Adult 2D echo
* with use of contrast agent
* bubble study
* Post cardiac cath
* Post surgical echo
* assessment of pericardial effusion
* pericardiocentesis imaging
* calculating LV and RV strain
* diastology with TDI
* PISA calculations
* Biplane measurements for EF
* Treadmill stressecho: set‑up, resting and stress imaging
* Dobutamine stressecho: set‑up, resting and stress imaging
* Transesophageal Echo (TEE): set up, image acquisition, physician assistance
