As one of the nation's largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, CommonSpirit Health delivers more than 20 million patient encounters annually through more than 2,300 clinics, care sites and 158 hospital-based locations, in addition to its home-based services and virtual care offerings.As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.Produce two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures, using ultrasound equipment, for use by physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of heart.Calculate, measure, and document appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.Perform diagnostic carotid arterials and venous studies of upper and lower extremities and venous studies of patients with suspected peripheral vascular disease by following ICAVL guidelines.Explain procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxieties of patient.Review test results with interpreting physician.Communicate with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.Required:Associates OtherSuccessfully passed the Echocardiography Registry Exam1 year related experience in an Echo/Vascular LaboratoryBasic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - daysRegistered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire orRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hireCommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health.
