Job Summary:
This role is for an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer responsible for performing echocardiograms and related procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience and involves on-call responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience with various echocardiography techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Performing various echocardiography procedures, including 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Routine, and Treadmill Stress Echo.
- Utilizing Philips equipment (preferred).
- Adhering to isolation precautions.
- Utilizing Cerner (preferred).
- Working in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, and ICU settings.
- Managing on-call responsibilities (4 shifts per 6-week schedule, including one weekend day).
- Meeting facility needs within scope of practice.
- Documenting patient care in Cerner.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Tech.
- ARDMS and CCI certifications (preferred).
- Experience with Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, and ICU settings.
- Proficiency in various echocardiography techniques (3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Routine, Treadmill Stress Echo).
- Knowledge of isolation precautions.
- Active license (pending licenses accepted).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Philips equipment.
- Experience with Cerner.
Special Considerations:
- On-call requirement: 4 shifts per 6-week schedule, including one weekend day.
- No floating to other areas within the facility.
- Block scheduling is attempted but not guaranteed.
- Up to 36 hours of call-offs permitted per 13-week assignment without pay; additional call-offs will be billed. On-call shifts count as call-offs.
- RTO restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, and ICU experience required.
Scheduling:
- 10-hour shifts ) and 8-hour shifts ) available.
- Shift assignments and block scheduling are determined by the facility, with attempts made to accommodate requests.
