Providing remote acute care to patients in crisis, the full-time East Coast Licensed Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat individuals across various emergency settings during overnight shifts, collaborating with onsite professionals and utilizing evidence-based practices. Key responsibilities Simultaneously serving multiple emergency rooms and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis Receiving support from a 24/7 access center to ensure successful patient treatment throughout shifts Directing and implementing psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribing medications for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders Required qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist with unrestricted, independent licensure Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups, particularly in acute crisis settings Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles Advanced technical proficiency in telehealth, including use of EMR software and Microsoft applications Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide culturally competent care
