Job DescriptionThe solutions architect will work closely with EAM sales and operations teams to review upcoming EAM implementation opportunities, design response approach, support technical sales process, account management, and services delivery. This includes providing support to the project manager with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling and closing projects. As part of the operations team, the solutions architect will maintain relationships with customers and key decision makers to help identify follow-on business opportunities and maintain customer intelligence.What You Will Do:Develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate the development of new businessPlanning and scheduling client meetingsMeeting with new and existing clients to listen to their needsCommunicating client needs to project managers and supervisorsIdentify new business opportunities with existing customers for current and/or additional servicesParticipate in marketing activities, conference presentations, technical whitepapersParticipate in proposal development including writing proposals and estimating level of effortLearn, understand and be conversant in ABS Consulting products and servicesReview published reports and news articles about existing and potential new clients to identify customer intelligenceNetworking to meet new potential clientsMust be willing and able to travel 50% or more of the time as necessary to meet business needs.What You Will Need:Education and ExperienceAt least ten years of professional experience in a relevant fieldMust have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceIndustry experience (Energy: Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, Utilities)EAM system (IBM Maximo Application Suite / Hexagon EAM / Ultimo) knowledgeExposure to sales processKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesGreat communications, analytical, and interpersonal skillsExcellent presentation skillsAble to demonstrate Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system (out of box and tailored)Able to communicate industry experience during demonstrations, proposals, and customer visitsTechnical writing experienceAble to identify a request for proposal (RFP) for fitnessAble to develop RFP response / statement of work (SOW) contentAble to estimate effort and timeline for EAM implementationAble to identify and communicate sale opportunitiesAble to learn and conform to ABS Consulting sales processesPerform research and provide analysis on research performedGather and analyze data effectivelyApply critical thinking to a wide variety of problemsComprehend and analyze complex problemsWork under tight deadlinesProficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS health, safety, quality, and environmental management systemsSalary:$135K - $165KReporting Relationships:Could report to the Project Manager or Program Manager or a more senior level Consultant.
