More information can be found on their website.Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerform Projects as instructed by DFS management, including but not limited to:Carpet extraction, encapsulation, and spottingHard floor stripping, waxing, burnishing, polishing and scrubbingFacility periodic detailing duties as assignedPerform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and any damagesMaintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe mannerMaintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable conditionProper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicalsWear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all timesPerform other custodial duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:The Floor Tech reports to the Custodial Supervisor and cares for the Main building/facilities and equipment. Maintaining these responsibilities will help to ensure the health, safety and security of the public.Strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignmentsAbility to operate and use tools/equipmentAbility to follow oral and/or written instructionsMaintain a positive attitudeGood client/customer service skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasksAbility to work effectively independently or with a teamBasic knowledge of general housekeeping methods and practices, cleaning products and useKnowledge of hard floor and carpet detail projectsPhysical Demands: The Floor Tech position is a physically demanding position.
