Electrical And Instrumentation (E&I) Project ManagerRichard Construction Inc. (RCI) is currently seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Project Manager.Plan, organize, direct, and control execution of E&I construction projects to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule objectives. Multiple projects may be assigned concurrently.Provides contract administration, technical expertise, and support to multiple construction projectsAssists safety department in developing and implementing the project(s) safety plan(s) and leads by example for health and safety practices and proceduresSupports other department personnel as required; may include assisting with estimates in other disciplinesEnsures the project is constructed per design, specifications, codes, budget, resources, quality, and schedule objectivesManages project performance and assists project controls to provide performance status reports for safety, cost forecast, and scheduleDevelop good working relationships with ClientsIdentifies and manages risks and opportunitiesQualifications:Minimum of 5+ years experience managing E&I construction projectsDemonstrated success in management of construction projectsWorking knowledge of electrical specifications, codes, and installation practices with strong technical knowledgeAbility to interpret computerized costs data and systemsAbility to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlinesStrong computer skillsMust have a stable work historyPrevious management of supervisory experienceMust follow all company and site rules and regulationsRequired Qualifications:Estimating experience is a plusStrong E&I background on industrial construction projectsAbility to work with others - Team playerGood communication skillsCommitment to Richard values, safety rules, and regulationsThis position will report directly to the E&I Construction General ManagerEmployee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and liftingWill use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, and push or pull objects such as materials, controls, and toolsWill be required to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs in weightWill work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and capable of occasional work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirementsWill be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, earplugs/muffs, safety vests, gloves, steel toe/safety toe boots, and masks/respiratorsThis position primarily is performed from RCI's E&I Construction Office in Huffman, TX, but may be posted temporarily on project sites, when required.
