Responsibilities
- Manage due diligence efforts for potential land acquisitions
- Prepare feasibility studies, budgets, entitlement/development schedules, and risk assessments
- Coordinate with outside consultants and contractors for assessing project construction costs
- Prepare collateral material (aerial photos, maps, exhibits)
- Engage with state and federal agencies for project obligations and impacts
- Evaluate contracts, proposals, and other documents for vendors
- Review and analyze approvals/permits, zoning, engineering plans, and building costs
- Maintain file database and other necessary systems within the land department
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred emphasis in engineering, construction management, economics, finance, or real estate field)
- Five (5) years of experience minimum in land development, project management, and/or land acquisition positions
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Microsoft PowerPoint, various Adobe platforms, and/or Bluebeam
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
- Valid auto insurance coverage
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong researching skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
