DSCC Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Director for Program and Leadership DevelopmentThe Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is hiring a Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Director for Program and Leadership Development for the 2026 cycle. The Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Director for Program and Leadership Development will work with the Coordinated Campaigns Director, DSCC Campaign Services and other DSCC leadership, candidate campaigns, and state parties to develop program guidance, training plans, and evaluation systems to support state coordinated campaigns.The Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Director for Program and Leadership Development should have multiple cycles of field experience, preferably within a candidate or coordinated campaign. They should have strong, foundational project and people management skills.
In addition, they should have experience preparing and presenting written materials in a variety of formats, including memos, slides, and spreadsheets. This person should be comfortable collecting feedback and iterating on content with different stakeholders, while being adaptable as they work through shifting priorities.This position will report to the DSCC's Coordinated Campaigns Director.Responsibilities:Work closely with the DSCC Coordinated Campaigns team to develop and implement a training plan and schedule for coordinated campaigns in key Senate battleground statesCollaborate with Departments at the DSCC to create program and guidance memos, program rollout plans, and coaching check in agendas that will set expectations with states and be used to coach staff on the ground to successfully implement programWork with the DSCC Coordinated Campaigns teams and other department heads to develop and finalize written programmatic materials and briefs, including training content, that will be distributed to Senate campaigns and coordinated campaigns as support toolsProvide on-the-ground support as needed for coordinated campaign staff trainingsDevelop systems to regularly evaluate state coordinated campaign programs and synthesize action steps for the DSCC and state coordinated campaigns to maximize performanceCollaborate with counterparts to create metrics and reports to hold teams accountable to; analyze, derive insights from, and make recommendations using large-scale data that drives decision-making around strategic prioritiesQualifications:Multiple cycles of recent experience working in large scale, preferably statewide, field programsExperience developing and iterating on written materials in multiple formats, including memos, slides, and spreadsheetsExperience creating training agendas and other training materials for multiple audiencesExperience managing projects to completion through ambiguity and multiple levels of stakeholdersAn eagerness to receive feedback and work through several drafts before reaching a final productAn understanding of field and direct voter contact tools and products such as VAN, predictive dialers, peer-to-peer text programs, targeting models, field reports, etc., and associated metrics for successExcellent communication, relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills, especially in a fast-paced environmentEffective communicator across modes, including in-person, virtual, and writtenAbility to balance needs of multiple stakeholders while driving program goalsPersonal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills with individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disabilityThe annualized salary for this position is $130,000.Position Benefits:Medical, dental and vision benefits with premiums fully paid by DSCC offered to all employeesLife insurance and AD&D insurance fully paid for by the DSCCShort term and long-term disability fully paid for by the DSCCFSA medical plan offeredMore than 10 days of paid time off (includes federal holidays, time off around the holidays, vacation, and sick days)Paid parental leave401k plan with employer matchMonthly transportation benefits paid by DSCCThis position is based in DC.
