Job Description
Insight Global is currently seeking an Estimator to join a client in the commercial interiors construction industry in Charleston, SC. This individual will prepare accurate cost estimates for drywall, metal framing, ceiling, and interior finish projects across the Charleston territory. They will review plans and specifications, perform takeoffs, develop pricing, and support bid submissions for commercial construction opportunities. The Estimator will focus primarily on projects under $2M and will leverage market relationships and local knowledge to identify competitive opportunities. They will work closely with operations and project management teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and accurate project budgeting. The ideal candidate brings strong drywall estimating expertise, familiarity with Charleston-area construction markets, and the ability to operate independently.

Skills and Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of drywall estimating experience
• Deep drywall and metal stud framing experience
• Experience with QuickBid, OST (On-Screen Takeoff), Buzzbid etc.
• Strong understanding of field operations and installation methods
• Experience estimating projects up to $2M
• Experience bidding commercial drywall/interiors projects
• Ability to work independently
• Existing Charleston market knowledge and relationships
• Direct experience with a drywall/interiors contractor preferred • Project management experience
• Experience bidding Charleston-area projects
• Experience across Charleston, Orangeburg, Augusta, Savannah, and Brunswick markets
