Overview:
* Dryer Operator
* Rochelle IL
* Shift: 12-Hour shifts Days 7am-7:20pm
* 12-Hour Shifts Nights 7pm-7:20am
* Schedule varies 2 days on 2 days off or 3 days on 3 days off
* Pay Rate: $17.50 Days and $18 Nights
Responsibilities or job duties:
* To set up and control operation of the dryer and filling machine for the process of manufacturing products according to customer specifications.
* Sufficient reading and writing skills in English to read cover sheet and set up forms, correctly identify box labels or other identification means to insure correct product usage and record information from tags and boxes to a Rework Log.
* Sufficient math skills to count or measure dry weights when given specific units of measurements to follow and to calculate changes in inputs, number of boxes produced, and pounds produced.
* Ability to pay attention to detail in operating equipment, making system checks, recording data and information.
* Ability to analyze data and make necessary system changes to keep finished products within the required specifications.
* Ability to lift at least 25 kgs (55.115 pounds).
* Above average work and attendance record.
* Mandatory overtime and/or weekends are possible on short notice.
* Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
* Must be able to communicate properly on material issues to the Extruder operator
Qualifications:
* HS diploma/GED
* Valid DL
* E-Verify
* Open to being cross trained
* Lift requirements: 30-50lbs
