POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Food Solutions Drivers Department Manager or immediate supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for delivering all orders on a timely basis as determined by customer needs and company scheduling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

1. Locate deliveries in Napoleon's Bakery Plant and Food Solutions staging area, loading the truck in proper sequence.
2. Check orders, special orders, and invoices to ensure all products for the day have been loaded.
3. Deliver products to all Zippy's units and wholesale customers.
4. Provide excellent customer service while making deliveries.
5. Properly maintains the truck's air pressure in tires, and refills the gas, DEF, and water to proper levels. Completing these as well as other points on the daily pre and post trip checklist. Submitting a completed checklist to the manager or supervisor daily.
6. Keeping vehicle interior and exterior clean and sanitized. Washing vehicle exterior on a regular basis.
7. Report any problems to the manager or immediate supervisor.
8. Obey all traffic laws while on the road.

OTHER FUNCTIONS :

1. Check with the manager to see if needed to assist with other duties.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Scheduling:

• Available for work on Monday through Sunday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Schedule may vary.
• Available to work on all holidays.

Physical Ability:

• Must be in good physical shape to lift 40 - 50 lbs., and push rack of products up to 200 - 300 lbs

Mental Ability:

• Must be able to reason and use common sense
• Simple math calculation
• Must be able to read and understand traffic laws, road signage, and military base regulations

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening
• Must also have passed a TB test Dated/Issued within 12 months of date of hire OR Dated/Issued at the age of 16 or older.
• Fully Vaccination with the Covid-19 vaccine is preferred

Environmental Conditions:

• Work to be performed both indoors and outdoors.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Company will provide training regarding loading, delivery, and related tasks
• Operating and maintaining a 25,500 lbs GVW truck or less

Desired Skills:

• Ability to communicate and follow directions
• Must be familiar with island town and roads
• Ability to comprehend detailed instructions
