What You'll Do:
As a Driver Manager, you'll be the critical link between our organization, drivers, and customers. You'll:
* Lead and mentor associates to achieve operational and safety goals.
* Balance the needs of customers, drivers, and the business to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with your team of drivers and internal associates.
* Ensure compliance with company and federal DOT regulations while making safety-conscious decisions.
* Support drivers with daily dispatches, payroll, home time, and paperwork through our J&M Mobile App and other systems.
* Collaborate with departments to resolve challenges and implement creative solutions to improve driver retention .
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree or transportation experience preferred.
* Strong leadership skills : Someone who can inspire and motivate a team to perform at their best.
* Customer-focused mindset : An individual who prioritizes excellent service for both customers and drivers.
* Organizational skills : The ability to monitor driver hours, manage paperwork, and ensure timely communication.
* Proactive problem-solver : Someone who can identify issues, address them effectively, and escalating when necessary.
* Experience with TMW or similar operational software is a plus.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
