We are looking for a full-time Driver/Delivery Specialist to transport loads of Petroleum - Diesel and Gas from surrounding terminals to end users. Pick up and deliver products to customers in a safe, timely and professional manner.
+ Provide excellent customer service.
+ Follow all CHS Inc. policies and procedures.
+ Maintain electronic logs and onboard computer with each delivery and pickup.
+ Perform all DOT, pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip inspections.
+ Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
**Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)
+ Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
+ 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
+ Demonstrated experience hauling hazardous materials
+ Demonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations.
+ Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; interact professionally with internal teams and customers.
+ Demonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment.
+ Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and to the top of a tanker trailer
+ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; travel and time away from home as required by the schedule
+ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials.
Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
